Disappointment is an inevitable part of life that occurs every so often.
At one point in the past, I was supposed to meet up with someone at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden (near the Walker Art Center) to hang out and take photos but they no showed. It was saddening but I figured that since I was already out, I might as well accomplish what we were going to do by myself.
Although it is never fun to be stood up, I am glad that I was able to make the best of the situation and capture some really nice photographs. I’m not sure that I would have been able to put as much thought into them had there been someone with me.
I realize how annoying it can be to hear things like what I’m about to say but if you can change your thoughts to fixate upon positive aspects of negative occurrences, then you will not suffer. It takes practice but it can be done.
I was recently in the area and noticed that they are renovating the sculpture garden. It is projected to be completed in June of this year. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to return with and take more pictures!
